Emmaüs is a charity founded in 1949 in France to combat poverty and homelessness by priest Abbe Pierre before spreading around the world... it gives people who had been homeless somewhere safe and welcoming to live through being part of a working community geared towards becoming self-sufficient through social enterprise.
As part of an agreement signed with the City of Paris, Emmaüs has installed at STUDIO CENTQUATRE, "l'Appartemment Emmaüs", one of his first Odds and Ends shops. You can find here lots of useful items at unbeatable prices, such as dishes, knitting items and tons of classical vinyls!
Also, we advise you to come back often, the shop is regularly replenished. Dont forget to visit also Emmaüs Defi Riquet nearby (open only on Saturdays), it is the biggest Emmaüs shop in Paris.
